How to setup a Holiday Greeting (for Admins)

1. After you record your holiday greeting, send it to yourself so you have it on your PC.


2. Use this website to convert to the right audio file:


        3CX Audio Compatibility converter

 

3. login to your 3CX system using your Email or Extension number and password.

        

 

4. Go to the Admin Console on the bottom left. (Reminder: You must be signed in as an Admin.)



5. Go to ‘Office Hours’.



P.s: Make sure your department/company is selected 


6. Go to the ‘Office Holidays’ tab. (Make sure your department/company is selected)


7. Press the blue ‘Add’ button to add a holiday.


8. Name the holiday and choose the date(s). (Single days lets you choose a time) then press the blue ‘Save’ button.


9. Go to ‘Call Handling’. (Under ‘Office Hours’)


10. Select your main ring group. (not door(s))


11. Look for “when on holiday route to”. (If this is the first time this is set up, you can choose what should happen after the prompt in the dropdown menu.)



12. Make sure the "play announcements” option is toggled on, then you can view and select your uploaded from the drop-down menu.


13. Press the save button at the top of the page.
