Local Permissions on Entra Joined Computers

If you setup a computer and join Entra from within setup, there may be no local administrators. You need to change settings in Entra.


Devices - Microsoft Entra admin center 

Click on Manage Additional local administrators on all Azure AD joined devices and then add the global admin users.

Enable Global administrator role is added as local administrator on the device during Microsoft Entra join.

Under Registering user is added as local administrator on the device during Microsoft Entra join select All.
