Add a New User or Update an Active User

Add a new User

1. Login to the web portal with an admin account.
2. Go to the 'Users' tab and select 'Users' from the drop-down menu.
   
   
   
3. Press the '+' in the search bar
   
   
   
4. Fill in the following Information:
   • Status: Active
   • First Name
   • Last Name
5. Press the blue 'Save' button at the bottom right.
6. Add a card/fob (optional)
   1. Scan the card/fob at a working reader
   2. go to 'Events' tab to find and note the latest scanned card (may show an active card if the scanned card is assigned to an active user)
      • If the scanned card is assigned to an active user, look at "Update a current/active user" down below to update the user
   3. make note of the
   4. Press on 'Cards' to expand its menu
   5. Press the '+' button on the far right
   6. Fill in the following information:
      • Display name: (whatever you want. Example: fob, fob1, card, etc.)
      • Number: 
        • Family: 
        • Number:
        • Hex:
          
          Scanned card example: [098:33305][628219] / [family:number][hex]
   7. Press the blue save button at the bottom right of the box.
      
      
7. Add a keypad code/pin (optional)
   1. Press on 'Keypad code' to expand its menu
   2. Type in a code (must be 5 digits)
   3. confirm the code
   4. Press the blue save button at the bottom right of the box.
      
8. Add an Access Level
   1. Go to 'Access Levels'
   2. Press Assign at the far right.
   3. Select 'Access Level Always'
   4. Press Assign at the bottom right.

Update a current/active user

1. Login to the web portal with an admin account.
2. Go to the 'Users' tab and select 'Users' from the drop-down menu.
   
3. Once you find the user you are looking for, press the Gear icon next to the user
   
4. After all changes are made in each section, press the blue 'Save' button at the bottom right of that box
