Office 365 PST Import PST with AzCopy

Make a new role group called Import Export Role

Add the Mailbox Import Export permission

Add the admin as a member (by typing the display name)

You may have to wait 24 hours for this to take effect

Get the SAS URL

Downlaod AzCopy

https://aka.ms/downloadazcopy-v10-windows


azcopy.exe copy "<Source location of PST files>\*" "<SAS URL>"

(make sure to include quotes)


Make mapping file, upload and validate:

Workload,FilePath,Name,Mailbox,IsArchive,TargetRootFolder,ContentCodePage,SPFileContainer,SPManifestContainer,SPSiteUrl

Exchange,,filename.pst,user@domain.com,FALSE,/,,,,


Wait for the analysis to end and then click Import to Microsoft 365
